CVE-2024-35428Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Service interruption via arbitrary server-file deletion

Published May 30, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025

Path traversal in ZKTeco ZKBio CVSecurity 6.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to delete server files via BaseMediaFile. The Audio File deletion workflow accepts a client-controlled delPath value and resolves ../ sequences without restricting the resulting path to the media directory. An authenticated account can therefore remove application files such as app.key, interrupting the service.
