Unauthenticated code execution via loginAuth stack overflow
Published May 24, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in TOTOLINK LR350 9.3.5u.6369_B20220309 allows remote attackers to execute code or crash the router via login requests. The loginAuth function places the attacker-controlled http_host parameter into stack storage without enforcing the destination buffer capacity. The request needs no authentication or user interaction, and successful exploitation grants control of the router or interrupts its service.
