CVE-2024-35384Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Interpreter crash via unchecked array-length dereference

Published May 21, 2024 · Updated Mar 13, 2025

Improper input validation in Cesanta mJS 2.20.0 allows remote attackers to crash the interpreter through crafted JavaScript input. The execution path passes malformed expression state to mjs_array_length, which dereferences an invalid value and reads the zero page instead of rejecting it. Exploitation requires low privileges and user interaction and terminates the affected interpreter process.
