Stored script execution via unsanitized middlename field
Published May 30, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Diño Physics School Assistant 2.3 allows remote attackers to execute script through the middlename field. The save action in /classes/Users.php stores the middlename parameter without neutralizing browser-executable markup before later rendering. No authentication is required to submit the payload, but a user must view the stored value; the script then runs in that user's browser context.
