Database read and write via category identifier injection
Published May 30, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
SQL injection in Diño Physics School Assistant 2.3 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries through the id parameter. The /admin/category/view_category.php endpoint uses the attacker-controlled id value in a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax. The endpoint is network-reachable without authentication, and time-based blind queries can extract or alter database data while delaying responses.
