Arbitrary file read in ANPVIZ IP camera firmware 3.2.2.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to download device files over HTTP. The web_server copy_file routine removes the first eight URI bytes after matching /playback, passes the remainder unchanged to fopen, and returns the file in the response. Network access to the camera web interface is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and any file readable by the web_server process can be exposed.

What happened
