Use of hard-coded credentials in Tenda i29 Firmware 1.0.0.5 allows remote attackers to gain root access with a fixed password. The firmware embeds a fixed password for the root account instead of requiring a device-specific or administrator-selected secret. No prior privileges or user interaction are required, and successful use grants complete control of the access point.
