CVE-2024-35311

Relying-party disclosure via PIN-less FIDO2 enumeration

Published May 29, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Information disclosure in affected Yubico YubiKey and Security Key firmware allows local users to enumerate FIDO2 relying parties. The RP enumeration commands omit required user verification for protected discoverable credentials, allowing disclosure without the expected PIN prompt. Physical possession of a key or local access to its connected computer or phone exposes registered applications and services, but not credentials or other secure-element data.
