Authenticated file read via path traversal
Published Oct 22, 2024 · Updated Oct 22, 2024
Path traversal in Pandora FMS 700 through 777.2 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary server files. The plugin-edition feature resolves an attacker-controlled path outside the server plugins directory; the affected parameter and validation routine are undisclosed. Access requires a privileged authenticated session, and successful traversal exposes files readable by the web application.
