NULL pointer dereference in BlackBerry QNX SDP 7.0 through 7.1 allows local users to crash the Networking Stack via IP socket options. The IP socket-options processing path dereferences a NULL pointer while handling a locally supplied option, terminating the Networking Stack process. Local code execution is required; the reported consequence is loss of network service, with no confidentiality or integrity impact.
