Cross-site scripting in Mahara before 22.10.6, 23.04.6, and 24.04.1 allows attackers to execute JavaScript via file upload. The file browser places an attacker-controlled filename containing JavaScript into a page context without neutralizing the executable content. Exploitation requires a specially named file to be uploaded and a user to interact with the affected page, exposing that user’s browser session to script actions.
