CVE-2024-35195Public exploit

Man-in-the-middle interception via reused TLS pool

Published May 20, 2024 · Updated Jul 31, 2025

Improper TLS verification in Requests before 2.32.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read or alter HTTPS traffic. HTTPAdapter previously selected a connection pool without incorporating the per-request verify value, so a pool opened with CERT_NONE was reused. The flaw requires a long-lived Session whose first request to an origin disables verification; a man-in-the-middle attacker can then read or alter later HTTPS traffic.
