CVE-2024-35145Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via unneutralized Web UI input

Published Jan 25, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025

Cross-site scripting in IBM Maximo Application Suite Monitor 9.0.0 allows remote attackers to inject JavaScript into the Web UI. The Monitor Web UI fails to neutralize attacker-controlled content before embedding it in generated pages, causing browsers to execute arbitrary script in a trusted session. No authentication is required, but a user must interact with the affected content; script execution can alter displayed functionality and disclose session credentials.
