CVE-2024-35122

Local file denial of service via referential constraint

Published Jan 24, 2025 · Updated Sep 29, 2025

Incorrect privilege assignment in the affected IBM platform releases 7.2 through 7.5 allows local users to deny access to a target file through a referential constraint. The platform permits a non-privileged user to configure the constraint under the authority of another user who accesses the file. Exploitation requires local access and user interaction, and the resulting denial of service is limited to the targeted file.
