CVE-2024-35118

Credential disclosure via hard-coded Android agent secrets

Published Aug 29, 2024 · Updated Aug 29, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in IBM MaaS360 for Android 6.31 through 8.60 allow physically proximate attackers to obtain sensitive credentials. The Android agent stores credentials as fixed values within the application, exposing them to extraction from the installed package. Physical access to the device is required; the public record reports credential disclosure only and does not identify the protected service or follow-on access.
