Unauthorized homepage product creation via CSRF
Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
CSRF in Wangtai idcCMS 1.35 allows remote authenticated users to add homepage products through an administrator's browser. The /admin/homePro_deal.php add handler accepts a cross-origin POST containing product fields without a request-specific CSRF token, then creates and enables the submitted entry. Exploitation requires a signed-in administrator to submit the attacker's form, and the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized homepage content creation.
