Contributor-level code execution via widget file inclusion
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Local file inclusion in Wpmet ElementsKit Pro 3.6.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through widgets. The Price Menu, Hotspot, and Advanced Toggle widgets accept an attacker-controlled file path for PHP inclusion without constraining it to an intended location. Contributor-level access is required, and code execution additionally depends on uploading an includable file; otherwise, the flaw can expose local data.
