Database compromise via guest-triggered SQL injection
Published Jun 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Buy Addons bagoogleshopping before 1.0.26 allows remote attackers to read or alter the PrestaShop database via HTTP. The GenerateCategories::renderCategories() method exposes sensitive SQL calls through a trivial HTTP request without neutralizing attacker-controlled SQL syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required; exploitation can disclose or delete data, rewrite settings, and enable administrator access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
