Authenticated browser script execution via exptable reflection
Published May 17, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Reflected XSS in DedeCMS 5.7.113 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser via a crafted request. The sys_data_replace.php getfields action places the attacker-controlled exptable parameter into its response without output encoding. Backend access is required to reach the endpoint, and exploitation requires another user to open the crafted response, exposing that browser session to script actions.
