CVE-2024-34958Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated banner creation via cross-site request forgery

Published May 16, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Cross-site request forgery in idcCMS 1.35 allows remote authenticated users to add a banner through an administrator’s browser. The admin/banner_deal.php?mudi=add handler accepts a forged POST and applies its banner fields using the victim’s session without validating an anti-CSRF token. An authenticated administrator must load or submit attacker-controlled content; the demonstrated result is an unauthorized banner addition.
