Administrator setting changes via tokenless POST
Published May 16, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
CSRF in Wangtai IDC Cloud Management System 1.35 allows remote attackers to alter image settings through an administrator's browser. The admin/sysImages_deal.php?mudi=infoSet handler accepts a cross-origin POST containing thumbnail dimensions and flags without a request-specific anti-CSRF value. The victim must have an authenticated administrative session and load attacker-controlled content; the demonstrated consequence is modification of thumbnail-generation settings.
