CVE-2024-34944

Unauthenticated memory corruption via DHCP client list

Published May 10, 2024 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda FH1206 1.2.0.8 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via a crafted DHCP client-list request. The ip/goform/DhcpListClient handler accepts list1 data that exceeds the bounds of a stack-resident destination buffer. An attacker must reach the router from an adjacent network and need not authenticate; the disclosed outcome is stack-memory corruption.
