Script execution via unsanitized User-Agent output
Published May 13, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Cross-site scripting in WWBN AVideo before 14.3 allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted User-Agent header. The view/about.php page reads HTTP_USER_AGENT from the request and echoes it into HTML without sanitization or output encoding. Exploitation requires the targeted browser to request the affected page with the crafted header, and the resulting script runs in that browser's AVideo origin.
