Stored XSS via unescaped Countdown Expired Title
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Exclusive Addons for Elementor 2.6.9.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in visitors' browsers. The Countdown Timer widget stores the Expired Title setting and renders it on a page without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient to save the payload, which runs whenever a visitor opens the affected page and can act in that visitor's browser context.
