Administrator SMTP credential disclosure via server-address change
Published Nov 4, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Credential exposure in SMTP settings in Bitrix24 23.300.100 allows remote authenticated users to read stored SMTP passwords. The SMTP server edit workflow accepts an attacker-controlled server address when Apply is clicked and sends the stored password to that server in Base64 form. Administrator privileges and an existing SMTP account are required; exposure is limited to the configured SMTP credential.
