CVE-2024-3484

Privilege escalation or disclosure via OctetStringUpload traversal

Published May 15, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Path traversal in OpenText iManager 3.0.0 through 3.2.6.0300 allows attackers to disclose files or escalate privileges. The OctetStringUpload handler fails to confine a supplied path to its intended directory, permitting access outside that directory. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and user interaction; published sources do not disclose the required interaction or exact file operation.
