Unauthenticated license clearing via missing capability check
Published Jun 11, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Missing authorization in If-So Dynamic Content Personalization 1.7.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to clear plugin licenses. The edd_ifso_clear_license() function processes an unauthenticated license-clear request without checking the caller's WordPress capabilities. No authentication or user interaction is required; exploitation removes the stored license state but does not disclose data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
