Stored XSS via insufficient srcdoc neutralization
Published May 16, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Webvitaly iframe 5.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted iframe shortcode. The shortcode renderer accepts arbitrary iframe parameters, and the srcdoc attribute remains insufficiently neutralized when saved content is rendered. A low-privileged user must be able to save shortcode content, and a separate user must view the resulting page for the script to run in that user's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
