Button deletion via missing bulk-action nonce validation
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Mar 14, 2025
CSRF in Sticky Buttons – Floating Buttons Builder before 3.2.4 allows remote attackers to delete buttons through a forged request. The sticky-buttons admin page accepts the delete-items bulk action and an attacker-supplied ID from POST data without validating a CSRF nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled content, and the bounded impact is deletion of configured buttons.
