Button deletion via unchecked bulk-action request
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Wow-Company Wow Skype Buttons before 4.0.4 allows remote attackers to delete Skype buttons. The mwp-skype administration page accepts a forged POST containing an ID and delete-items action without verifying a CSRF nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled HTML, after which the browser submits the deletion request with that administrator's session.
