CVE-2024-3472Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Modal deletion via missing CSRF check

Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in Wow-Company Modal Window before 5.3.10 allows remote attackers to delete modals in bulk. The bulk-delete action accepts attacker-supplied ID and action fields without validating a WordPress nonce before deleting stored modal entries. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled HTML or follow a crafted link, and the resulting forged request removes the selected modal configuration.
