Unauthenticated invoice disclosure via flawed ownership check
Published May 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Information disclosure in PrestaShop 8.1.5 allows remote attackers to download other customers' invoices through the front office. PdfInvoiceController::postProcess combines a logged-in customer mismatch and an invalid supplied secure_key in one conjunction, so an absent customer identity makes the ownership guard false. An unauthenticated network request with a target order identifier and any secure_key value can therefore read that order's invoice, without broader write or service impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=8.1.0 <8.1.6
