Button deletion via unverified bulk-delete request
Published May 2, 2024 · Updated Nov 20, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Wow-Company Button Generator before 3.0 allows remote attackers to delete buttons via a forged request. The button-generation administration page accepts attacker-selected ID, action, and action2 values for bulk deletion without verifying a CSRF nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled HTML that submits the request, and the demonstrated consequence is deletion of configured buttons.
