CVE-2024-34707Network attack vector

Stored XSS via unsanitized banner rendering

Published May 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Stored XSS in Network to Code Nautobot before 1.6.22 and 2.0.0 through 2.2.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts. The BANNER_TOP, BANNER_BOTTOM, and BANNER_LOGIN values are rendered with Django's safe filter, placing administrator-supplied HTML into shared pages without sanitization. An administrator must save a crafted banner, and another user must load an affected page; the injected script then runs in that user's browser.
