CVE-2024-34706Network attack vector

Access-token theft via default Form.io endpoints

Published May 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Token exposure in Valtimo Frontend Libraries allows attackers to steal logged-in users' JWTs through Form.io requests. FormioComponent leaves Form.io projectUrl and authUrl at the api.form.io defaults, then installs the user's token, causing the library to send it in the x-jwt-token header. Exploitation requires access to traffic or logs for api.form.io, network access to the Valtimo API, and use of the token before it expires.
