Out-of-bounds write in libsubextractor.so on Samsung Mobile Devices Android 12 through 14 allows local attackers to corrupt memory via subtitle files. The subtitle parser applies insufficient input validation and writes beyond a destination buffer while processing malformed subtitle data. Triggering requires user interaction with attacker-controlled subtitle content, and the documented consequence is memory corruption rather than code execution.
