Heap-based out-of-bounds write in Samsung Notes before 4.4.21.62 allows local users to execute arbitrary code during input processing. Samsung has not disclosed the affected parser or input format, stating only that the patch adds proper input validation. The attack requires local access to supply application input; successful memory corruption permits arbitrary code execution.
