Privileged API access via missing caller verification
Published Sep 4, 2024 · Updated Sep 4, 2024
Incorrect privileged-API use in Samsung Mobile Devices on Android 12 through 14 allows local users to access Knox APIs without a license. DualDarManagerProxy accepts calls to protected Knox APIs without properly checking caller identity and license authorization. Local code execution on an affected Galaxy device is required, and the published impact is limited to unauthorized API access and low confidentiality loss.
