Improper input validation in librtp.so on Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Aug-2024 Release 1 allows remote attackers to execute system code. Samsung has not disclosed the input structure, parsing operation, or failed consistency check inside librtp.so that makes crafted data lead to code execution. Triggering requires user interaction, and successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code with system privilege on an affected Android device.
