Improper access control in Samsung Mobile Devices before SMR Jul-2024 Release 1 allows local attackers to read a device identifier. The affected system property exposes the identifier without enforcing the access restriction that Samsung added in the July release. The flaw is locally reachable on Android 12, 13, and 14 and discloses only the device identifier; no data modification or service interruption is reported.
