Server-side requests via unrestricted RetrievalMethod URI dereferencing

SSRF in W3C XML Signature Syntax and Processing 1.0 allows attackers to reach internal resources through crafted XML signatures. The RetrievalMethod element permits a KeyInfo URI, and implementations that blindly dereference an attacker-controlled external URI issue requests from the verifier. Exposure requires processing untrusted XML signatures without restricting external references; resulting access is bounded by the verifier's network and URI-handler permissions.
