Administrator credential disclosure via TunnelId SQL injection
Published Apr 8, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in Netentsec NS-ASG Application Security Gateway 6.3 allows remote authenticated users to read administrator credentials. The /admin/add_ikev2.php handler places the untrusted TunnelId value into a database query, and crafted SQL extracts adminname and passwd values from the Admin table. The administrative endpoint requires authentication, and successful exploitation discloses stored administrator credential values from the gateway database.
