Stack-based buffer overflow in Fuji Electric ALPHA5 Smart 4.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via crafted C5V files. The C5V parser copies user-supplied data into a stack buffer without validating its length, allowing the copy to exceed the buffer. Exploitation requires a user to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file, and successful exploitation runs code in the current process.
