Published May 8, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
DOM-based cross-site scripting in Habibur Rahman Sticky Social Link 2.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts. The plugin accepts crafted values in its administrator settings and inserts them into browser-rendered page content without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping. Administrator-level access and a later page visit are required; injected script runs in the visitor’s browser on multisite installations or installations where unfiltered_html is disabled.
