Administrative access via embedded shared credentials
Published Jun 14, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in TerraMaster TOS 5.1 and earlier allow remote attackers to access mail and administration services. The firmware embeds the fixed [email protected] account and pm0607 password, and the mail, webmail, and administration login paths accept that shared credential pair. No prior authentication or user interaction is required; successful login grants administrative access and permits privileged actions on the NAS.
