Privilege-management flaw in Neo4j Graph Database Enterprise 5.0.0 through 5.18 allows remote authenticated users to alter immutable privileges. The Cypher component fails to preserve IMMUTABLE semantics, under which a granted or denied privilege cannot later be removed; Neo4j has not disclosed the affected command path or incorrect check. Reachability requires legitimate administrator privileges, and the reported impact is confined to unauthorized data access or modification without service interruption.
