Database query manipulation via unneutralized id parameter
Published Aug 7, 2024 · Updated Aug 7, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Computer Laboratory Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to alter database queries through the id parameter. The save_category route in classes/Master.php sends the multipart id value into a database query without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling time-based injected subqueries. The published request requires no credentials and demonstrates attacker-controlled query execution through a five-second SLEEP condition.
