Internal resource access via unrestricted connectivity-test URL

Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Server-side request forgery in TwoNav 2.1.13 allows remote authenticated users to access internal resources through connectivity_test. The read_data handler passes the submitted url value directly to cURL, permits non-HTTP schemes, disables TLS peer verification, and returns the response body. Administrator access is required; reachable consequences include local file disclosure, internal port probing, and requests to internal services.
