CVE-2024-34434Network attack vector

Unauthenticated shortcode execution via unvalidated action value

Published May 17, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Incorrect authorization in MDTF 1.3.3.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes without authentication. An exposed action passes an unvalidated request value to WordPress's do_shortcode function, executing any registered shortcode the site provides. No account or user interaction is required, and the resulting access is limited to functionality exposed by installed shortcodes.
