Improper exception handling in McAfee Security Antivirus VPN for Android before 8.3.0 allows attackers to interrupt the app via a malformed deep link. The deep-link handler leaves the exception raised by malformed link data uncaught instead of rejecting the input. Opening the crafted link requires user interaction; the published impact is limited to loss of app availability, with no disclosed data access or modification.
